Why Do I Need A Polish To English Translator
Last week I went to Poland from England. Being an Englishman I obviously did not know the Polish language, so I faced many difficulties for this reason. I wanted somebody who could have translated the language, i.e. I wanted a translator Polish to English, but I could not find one.
The problems started from the first day of my visit. The accommodation I was lodging in shockingly did not have any good English speaking attendants. Only the manager was able to converse with me. Right from the door keeper to the waiter, everybody Polish! Annoyed I made a decision to take a stroll around the hotel. While wandering, I came across a Flower vendor - lovely daffodils and cute roses filled her flower bouquet.
I was to ask her about the price of one flower bunch but the lady simply kept staring at me for 5 long minutes. Having already gotten used to the treatment I decided to find a lad who know how to translate Polish to English. Yet as I mentioned I searched, but could not locate one. The trip thus had this type of incidences all the while.
Fortunately my work was not of speaking to the Polish people very much, therefore I was able to focus on my work. Sometimes such events occurred to amuse me, that people can be so reluctant to learn the international language. Yes you can say that was real patriotism, but in the search of real patriotism they lost some foreign currency that could have had some impact on the economy!
But I was also ignorant to enter a foreign language nation not knowing anything regarding them. Now that I have came back, I am learning the Polish language - at least partially. Finally as they say in Polish - pozegnanie. (I used a translation Polish to English software for the last sentence)
